How To Make A Booking
Posted by admin on January 20th, 2010 filed in Making A Booking, Visitor Information
You do not need to book in advance but we strongly recommend you do so, especially if you are planning to come during holiday times or weekends.
We would like to encourage everybody to use the online booking facility on our main website:
www.applecross-campsite.co.uk
This is by far the easiest way to make a booking as you can check availabilities and choose requirements to suit your needs. You can pay straight away by debit or credit card, or select to make payment by cheque or transfer.
If you have difficulties booking online you can contact us by email, post or phone.
Please be aware that sending us a letter or email, or leaving a phone message does not mean you have made a booking until we have told you otherwise.

I am coming to Applecross to do a kayak course with Mike weekend of 15th/16th May. I will be driving up from Lancashire after work on Fri so will arrive very late – 0100 at earliest. Am I allowed to arrive and pitch so late? Obviously I would be as quiet as possible.

Yes that is okay if you promise to be really quite and don’t pitch too close to others. Please be aware that we do not allow people to drive on the campsite after a certain time at night and that the gate is likely to be locked. You will have to leave your car in the car park and carry your equipment to your pitch.

Please this information is very important, consider it as such, unless you want to have a bad experience. I had one such experience when I failed to book in advance in a hotel some years back. I got there and all the rooms were filled. It was a festive season so all other hotels had similar situations. I had to move to the next town to find a place to lay my head. Would want the same thing to happen to you? http://medicsalertbracelets.com

Please kindly specify the time at night you do not allow driving on the campsite? I have a lot of stuff with me and I may be arriving late. This is my first at you campsite.

As for me, I usually do my booking weeks ahead. Saves me the time and hassle of finding a package suited for myself and my family.

As for me, I plan ahead and do my bookings in advance. I don’t want to deal with the hassles and troubles that come from booking late.

I really enjoyed staying at the campsite last summer. I finally got a chance to enjoy nature for what it really is, wonderful. Thanks a bunch.

We don’t allow driving on the site after the gates are locked, usually at 10pm.

To avoid all the hassles that unpreparedness may bring, I do bookings at least 2 weeks in advance, especially if it’s holiday season.

I’m looking forward to coming back here again this summer, we had such a great time – its such a great campsite with good facilities. We are planning to come again – how busy are the camping huts in October? Are they always full?
