FQA – Making A Booking

I am new to booking online. How do I go about it?

It is very easy and straight forward to book online and you are guided all the way through the booking process.
Unsure? This is how it works:
Click on ‘Book Online’ on our main website. Please chose and click on the type of accommodation you want to book. This will open up a calendar view where you can select your arrival date. You will then be guided through the process of choosing the length of your stay, party size and any additional requirements. After you have chosen all your requirements you are ask for your contact details and to create a customer log-in. All details and prices will be clearly shown before submission and you can choose if you want to pay by debit/credit card or prefer another payment methods.

Why can I not book for July 22rd or 23th?
This is the weekend of the Applecross Highland Games 2011. The Games are held on the campsite ground and all pitches are reserved for visitors to the event.  Entree fees for Games as well as the evening dance must be purchased in addition to pitch fees. Applecross Games weekend bookings will soon become available for booking online and you can join our mailing list if you want to be notified of this.

Do I need to book if I just need a tent pitch ?

No, you can usually just turn up. Exeptions may apply when we have an event on like the Highland Games or the annual Bikers Bash.

You may want to book if you require a electric hook-up point or hard-standing for a camper van or motorhome.

I have booked online. When will I receive my booking confirmation email?

These are usually send 24-72 hrs after you made the booking.
